Graphic artists turn designers when they create enamel pins and such like with their designs. Some of them like theGorgonist also make acrylic charms which are excellent as cartoon style pendants and keychains. I featured Robin's work before, here.
Designers like Robin use printing services like InkItLabs and StickerMule for creating acrylic charms (and more) from their artwork. But the minimum order is typically 50 pieces. That's a lot if you don't know if a particular design is going to sell.

3 Beautiful Shrink Plastic Flower Earrings Tutorials Uses Different Colorants
Shrink plastic is a wonderful medium for jewelry makers who can draw. Here are 3 beautiful flower earrings which which shrink plastic. The colorants are different for each of them. In general, you have to draw flowers about 3 times (this could vary depending on what you use) the final size you want. Also the colors intensify when the plastic shrinks so start with lighter colors.
First up is the lovely orchid earrings tutorial (shown above) by one of my favorite crafters and amazing polymer clay artist, Victoria of @SunDIYDay. She uses pan pastels as the colorant for this one. You can purchase these as separate pans or sets from any art store or online. The bright yellow color was added using Posca acrylic paint markers such as these which are excellent on all kinds of surfaces.

Can't possibly get into yet another technique? You might well think again after you watch artist Lucy Brydon transform shrink plastic into art jewelry using the gel printing technique.
Gel printing is known as a monoprinting technique as you can only get one impression as opposed to say, a rubber stamp where you can use it to print many times. Gel printing is a wonderful way of creating prints without having to use an expensive printing press.

This beautiful gingko leaf earrings tutorial (no longer available) by Stephanie of wellnesting is a marvelous example of how you can use ordinary shrink plastic and come up with something so striking.
She drew the design about 3 times bigger than what she wanted as the plastic will shrink down. I like how she also used a metallic gold leaf kit to add that dash of glamor.
