Hoop earrings have been popular for thousands of years. The picture below of a young girl wearing hoop earrings is from a fresco painted in Ancient Greece dated about 1650-1625 BCE.

Today we have all kinds of variations on the hoop style. Shown here are my favourites. Be sure to check out the designers' shops because they all have much more to offer!

This elegant red and gold beaded hoop earrings is by the BeadedTreasuryShop.

The clever linked loops of this geometric earrings pattern by PatriziaBijoux was what caught my eye.

Also by the same designer is this spectacular geometric oval hoop earrings pattern shown below.

Bugle beads are not used often enough! This is a rare example of bugle beads used in a beaded hoop design which I have featured before.  The designer is OEspiritodasArtes

BeadStudioByTia rocks with many, many beaded hoop designs. This lovely flower hoop earrings is one example of her work:

Beaded fringes on small metal hoops is another example of this genre. The bead colour palette on this design by LilibeadPatterns is gorgeous!

Peyote around the metal hoop findings is the technique used for this lovely beaded hoop earrings design by ThePacificThread
