Long beaded earrings rocks a contemporary style.

This simple tutorial by Turkish site, Tekin HANDMADE, is basically looks like tubular peyote but instead of working in the round, the stitching is done starting on a string 11/0 beads the length of the head pin cores.

The resulting sheets are then "zipped" up around the headpins. The headpins give the earrings rigidity.  50 mm headpins were used but you could also switch to shorter ones.  Perhaps even smaller beads?

I really like the use of metallic seed beads but really, the possibilities are endless.
