The Estonian wire artist behind Suzy Wong Studio has a great oval wire earrings tutorial - shown above  This is not a common shape for this kind of ear wire with a catch. They are often round not oval.

However, I do like how she wire wrapped tiny round gemstone beads around the lower frames. The different colors of the gemstone clusters makes this design pop!

You do not have to wrap clusters. Consider wire wrapping a larger pearl on the inside of the lower part of the frame for a minimalist look!

The second earrings tutorial have the round shape. However what the designer does differently is to make the threaded gemstone beads between a wire frame AND make the design secure as well! The use of square wire gives the earrings a different look.

Note that this tutorial is harder than the first one. Beginners should try the top one first.
