Beaded boxes can be challenging to make but oh so satisfying. They are great alternatives to jewelry as gifts as they can be used as unique small storage containers. I have come across many beaded box tutorials before (see links below) but designers never fail to astonish me with new creations. The concept and amount of work involved in creating these tutorials is awe inspiring. Needless to say, all these projects are for advanced beaders.

First up as the amazing geometric beaded box shown above.  The British designer is Patricia Verrier of BeadMechanics. This mathematically inclined designer is an absolute whiz at 3D geometric designs. I featured her work before here

Another very talented designer is Helena Tang-Lim of maneklady. This Singaporean is known for her elegant jewelry designs - her shop is a must see. I wrote about her work before

Helena says her box design shown below was inspired by the Salon Chinois (Chinese Salon) when she was lucky enough to stay at the restored neoclassical Château du Grand-Luce in the Loire Valley in France. You can read more about her inspired design in the listing description.

The water lily treasure box tutorial is probably the most elegant "tin" you have ever seen as it dresses up a real aluminum tin jar underneath. Its creator is Carole Ohl of openseed. I have featured Carole's work before.
