I don't know about you, but I love handbags.  I have quite a few. So these adorable beaded mini handbags are perfect for bag lovers like me!

First up is the lovely bead crochet mini bag tutorial which features tiny leather straps!  It is by Adele Rogers Recklies of Reckless Beading. This one makes a great decorative charm for key chains and so on. Or use them as dollhouse or doll accessories.  See this past post on how to use your beads and findings to make more fun stuff for dollhouses.

Adele says, "The tutorial consists of a Techniques Section and a Mini-Purse project."

"The Technique Section will discuss:
stringing beads in a pattern
how to hold your beads and thread
an explanation or reminder of how to do a single crochet stitch without beads
4 methods of starting a bead crochet tube
2 methods of single crochet with beads
how to increase beads
how to add new thread
a list of suggested thread, bead, and hook combinations."

That is very helpful in a tutorial!

Not into bead crochet?  Check out this sweet crystal beaded mini handbag tutorial by Cara and Lane Landry of SimpleBeadPatterns. These are dainty enough to be earrings.  The little heart features are right on for bag lovers.

This crystal beaded mini handbag tutorial shows a different elongated style . Love that crystal handle. The tutorial is by Jane Chew of DIYJewelryMaking.

This Japanese tutorial uses fishing line which will give the design some rigidity. I cannot read Japanese hence I can't comment on the quantity and bead sizes used. Experiment!
