Beaded stud earrings exude glamor on a smaller scale!  I have written about my favorites before (see first link below) but here are two more for the collection. Both are knot inspired.

The first beaded Sailor knot inspired earrings tutorial is by Juliet Erskine of Jules and Rose.  This design encases the stud pad so no glue is required.

The second knot stud earrings tutorial is by HuongHandmade. This designer not only used glue but also encased the stud pad with beadwork.

I can understand why many beaders are reluctant to trust glue for this application. The available sticking places are limited to the beads' individual surface area. Small beads = not much surface area.

I highly recommend Starbond glue (medium) for other stud earrings applications such as my laser cut wood studs. Very strong and durable. Use Code BGSB15 at the Starbond checkout to save 15% amount on your purchase. Or purchase it through Amazon.
