Elegant Geometric Beaded Pearl Earrings Tutorial Uses Herringbone Stitch

One of my favorite beading instructors is the artisan behind Sapphirus. Such elegant designs.

This geometric stud earrings beauty features herringbone stitch in an almost triangular pattern around the pearls. She used TOHO 15/0  seed beads. Either use nylon thread or 4 lb Fireline as this is a delicate design. The other reason is to accommodate several thread passes through the beads. You may have trouble with 6 lb Fireline.

The design uses 8 mm pearls with 6 mm cup stud posts.

  1. these are adorable! and, while i'm a go-big-or-go-home-earring girl, I can see these would be a beautiful stud to hang something more from. :)
