10 Awesome Beaded Earrings DIY Kits by CrazyAcademy

I featured Ukrainian beadwork designer, Polina of CrazyAcademy before. She is a prolific bead artist constantly adding tutorials and kits. She may call herself a "crazy" beader but in truth she is a highly motivated and hardworking creative who is passionate about her craft.

The last time I wrote about her amazing necklace patterns and kits with a few earrings tossed in. This time round, I have selected a small sample from her huge 400+ collection of earrings DIY kits. Many but not all are fringe patterns.

Some of you prefer to use kits which are combinations of supplies and patterns because you will not have to source specific bead colors and be stuck with excesses! Please also check her pattern/tutorial only collection if you prefer to source from your own bead stashes!

Glamorous Very Long Fringe Beaded Earrings by OljaExclusiveGoods

Supporting Ukrainian Artisans
So many people love to make and wear beaded fringe earrings.  I know because I have featured many designers before! So how does a jewelry maker stand out from the crowd? Olja of OljaExclusiveGoods delivers big - literally!
She makes all kinds of beaded fringe earrings but the designs which caught my eye (as well as those of many buyers) are the ones which measure 8- 14 inches in length. These are stunning and certainly glamorous.. There is also something about the sinuous movement of these beauties which will surely stand out when they compliment just the right outfit.

Real Flowers, Leaves, Moss, Lichen, Bark and Dried Root Resin Jewelry by VyTvir

Supporting Ukrainian Artisans

I've seen many talented dried flora resin jewelry artisans but Natalie Sergei's work is a cut above the rest. As you can see from VyTvir, the dried organic inclusions into the rings, pendant and earrings designs is incredibly varied and so well done.

The resin rings are lovely especially the ones with part wood or even bark. The standout is the use of tried roots to mimic trees of life.  Lovely touches of metallic bits gives the pieces such elegance.

Fun and cute jewelry not only brightens one's day but also can be conversation starters! iCutiePie is a  polymer clay design store which offers adorable jewelry and keychains. The designer is Max who has a wonderfully imaginative way with clay.

The kitty butt stud earrings cracked me up. You don't often find Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Yeti earrings but here they are in her shop! There is something for everyone.  Do check out her splendid Halloween collection since that is coming soon.

Modern Stained Glass Suncatchers and Brooches by GlassArtStories | Watch How Medieval Stained Glass was Made

Supporting Ukrainian Artisans

I featured many stained glass artisans before (see links below) but the work of Ivan and his family for GlassArtStories is especially wonderful because they put a lot of details in their designs.

I have selected my favorites from their many collections. One of their most popular categories is their bird suncatcher one. Kingfishers, hummingbirds, little chickadees and so on, all displaying their attention for detail.  The fluidity of some of their designs is shown by how they compose their stained glass art such as the hummingbird and flower one below. Pairs of cardinals are even offered in different poses.

Gorgeous Floral Ribbon Embroidered Pendants and Tutorials by BeadSplendour

Supporting Ukrainian Artisans

Working with ribbon is something I keep at a minimum simply because I am all thumbs with them. Not so Bogdana Prots, the talented Ukrainian ribbon embroidery artisan behind BeadSplendour.

Her work is gorgeous as she so cleverly takes advantage of the ribbon to create petals and leaves. The soft drape of the ribbon is especially effective in her sunflowers. Her bouquet pendants are exquisite - such dainty compositions.

Her knotted cord designs are wonderfully colorful. You can see a little cross over elements in the fringes of some of her work. This pendant design below reminds me of jellyfish!

Beautiful Beaded Flower Designs by RosabeadStudio for Brooches and Necklaces

Supporting Ukrainian Artisans

Making large beadwoven flowers for brooches and necklaces is not an easy task. The petals are usually not uniformly even and they all have to be carefully joined together to form each flower correctly.

Designer, Victoria Zaitseva of RosabeadStudio, understands this very well. Her PDF instructions often run into dozens of pages, detailed pictures and includes links to short videos to ensure a maker can successfully make a flower and so on.

Lovely Beaded Fringe Earrings Patterns by MartaJewelry

Supporting Ukrainian Artisans

Long time blog readers might remember my feature on Marta's micro-macrame jewelry work before.  But she is also a beader whose beaded fringe earrings patterns caught my eye on MartaJewelry.

That she is multi-talented is not surprisingly. She explained :
I love bead weaving, macramé, crocheting, bead embroidery. Also, I learn oil painting. Nature inspires me.

Bead Crochet Jewelry Patterns and Tutorials with Videos by NiLaJewelryStore

Supporting Ukrainian Artisans

Bead crochet differs from beadweaving in that a crochet hook is used to crochet thread which has been previously strung with beads.

It helps a lot if the patterns were already laid out especially if there are color changes. One bead artist who does this is Nina of NiLaJewelryStore.  Most of her patterns are accompanied by videos which makes learning easier. Note : you do need to have intermediate crochet skills.

Supporting Ukrainian Artisans

Want bold statement jewelry without the weight?  Check out the work of Pavel the designer behind HandmadebyTarja. She has two stunning collections - one created with polymer clay and the other in acrylic (other names for this material include plexiglass, lucite). Eye-catching and oh so light to wear.

Some of her designs are tribal African inspired. Others are geometric. Most of her designs are in the classic colors of black, white, metallics but with the occasional strong pop of color.  Perfect for simple minimal outfits as these earrings will stand out.

Lovely Loom and Peyote Beadwork Patterns by MariVirraPatterns

Supporting Ukrainian Artisans

Marina is an Ukrainian beader who lives in Kyiv. Her designs in MariVirraPatterns clearly show her passion for loom and peyote beadwork.

Many of her patterns are Southwestern inspired.  I really love how she offers this large collection of hers as bundles.  Also neat is her offering of narrower and longer designs specifically for hat bands. Not many designers do this.

Lovely Collection of Beaded Fringe Earrings Patterns by HelenBeadPatterns

Supporting Ukrainian Artisans

Many people love making beaded fringe earrings.  No wonder because brick stitch is not hard to do and the project is soothing and rewarding. The basic layout is also akin to a canvas.

The Ukrainian beadwork designer of HelenBeadPatterns definitely takes advantage of that canvas potential.

Awesome Beaded Fringe Beadwork Earrings Patterns by Beading Patterns4Fun

Supporting Ukrainian Artisans

I've partially featured Andrew G's BeadingPatterns4Fun designs before (see feature). But that was too brief as the beaded fringe beadwork patterns of this designer is worth a closer look.

These are patterns, not tutorials. It's assumed you know how to do brick stitch and fringe. The patterns though, do give you a large picture and bead chart with bead legend for the colors, names, numbers, and quantity of beads.
